Aby-a-Day – February 6: Stuck in the middle (Hipstamatic Monday)

Jacoby, as the youngest cat in our household and the only boycat in a house full of girlcats, is just a tiny bit spoiled.

For example, he tends to command the best sleeping places.

And he gets mothered a bit, especially by Tessie, who’s the oldest (as well as the only cat who has had kittens of her own).

Carol at the post office always says that, in her next life, she wants to come back as Jake. I’d have to agree with her on that one!

Abys in Need – Found Abyssinian in Alexandria, VA

I got this from the Aby Rescue mailing list…

VArescueAby1

I rescued an Abyssinian in Alexandria, VA. I spotted him at a shopping center, and, fortunately, I was able to rescue him. My vet estimates that he is 1-1.5 years old, and he was already neutered. He tested FEL/FIV negative and parasite-free, and my vet vaccinated him.

No one has stepped forth to claim him. He is a very sweet, affectionate cat who loves humans, but he hates other cats. He needs to be an “only” pet. Can you be of assistance in finding him a new home?

VArescueAby2

Isn’t he adorable? He reminds me a lot of Angel. If you know of someone who has lost an Aby, or if you know of a catless home in need of a handsome red/sorrel boy, please contact Sharon Dyer.
