Tuesday’s cartoon was, as most cartoons are, based in reality. Angel really does chase her tail at the top of the cat tree.
Unfortunately, she does it when the only camera I have handy is my iPhone…
…and the lighting is, well, less than optimal.
To be honest, if I wasn’t a blog-writer, I’d say the lighting was “crap,” but since I’m a regular writer, I have to be more articulate than that.
That’s part of the nature of doing a blog based on photos of cats; you don’t always have the luxury of choosing when they do stuff you want to take pictures of. You’re lucky to capture the moment at all! Fortunately, thanks to modern technology, I have a camera close at hand.
I’m actually happy that I can use the “bad” photos as the basis for cartoons.
But at the same time, I wanted to share the photos that formed the basis of this week’s cartoon.
It was pretty cute, Angel chasing her own tail. I wish the photos were better.

You are lucky (along with being talented) – my human does not have the patience to draw (which she actually used to be able to do), so all her bad photos of me go completely to waste!
Don’t you want to set up a “nanny cam” sometimes? I do.
YES.
I wish those collar cams had longer battery lives…I could just set it up in the morning when I go to work…
