Update on Miracle Max, the Rescue Somali

I’m sure you remember the sad Somali boy who was dumped in a high-kill Canadian shelter and then rescued by the marvelous Mandi and given a forever home. Well, the other day, Mandi send another update on our boy, now named Miracle Max:

Since it has been three weeks since Max was rescued, I thought I would give you an update.

He has settled in well, and as of the last few days, has full run of my place.

His introduction to his new “brothers” went very well. It was more than I could have hoped for! Max has made himself quite at home. He is very well mannered, and has not had any accidents or issues. He even walked right over to the cat tree and sharpened his nails (and not on my couch like one of my other cats….).

I have attached a picture of Max (on the left) with his new brother Westley (on the right). They sat with me last night as I was relaxing.

Thank you for helping to get him out of the shelter, and into my home 🙂

Isn’t that the best photo ever? Thank YOU, Mandi…I’ll bet those two boys will have fun storming your castle! Here’s wishing them ROUSes in their stockings 🙂
