When we’re out for a walk, there’s always a point where Jacoby recognises where we are and knows how to get home from there.
If I let him, he’ll hop out of the stroller or his carrying bag and walk.
It’s really cute; he just marches on proudly, leading the way home.
The place where his homing instinct kicks in is generally just past Binford Park on the Harborwalk, and on the Broadway Bridge if we’re coming home from Tufts.
In typical cat fashion, he prefers to run alongside an edge.
When he gets tired of walking, or if his feet start getting too cold, he’ll stop and jump back into the stroller. He’s a smart guy, our Jake!
