Boston’s subway system, commonly called the T, has four main lines: Red, Blue, Green and Orange. The Orange line is known for its 1970’s decor; along with the orange exteriors, Orange line trains have fake woodgrain panelling inside the cars. And it hasn’t changed much in almost 30 years, either: check out this photo from 1986!
But Orange line trains are the perfect setting for Hipstamatic picures!
Especially if you’re lucky enough to get a car with upholstered seats.
It’s almost like time travel.
