LOL – why does it say NOM on that ribbon?

It’s short for “Nomination” (“Nominering” på Svenska). It means she was nominated for the panel. It’s basically the finals; each judge nominates one cat in each class to go to the panel, and then all the judges vote for the cat they think is best in each class within that category.

NOMs aren’t always ribbons. We’ve gotten plaques, medals and little charms as well.
