How do you get Isaak and Rory to come back to you once they are off leash? I would like to let Rico off leash but am afraid he would take off and not return. He has escaped (jumped off the second story balcony) and is very fast making it difficult to catch him.

Zak is not that brave; he prefers to stay close to us. Rory is more of a free spirit, running off, preferably in another direction than Zak, but not too far. We’re trying to instil some freedom during responsibility in her. Yeah…

They are both still afraid to be alone, so we use that to keep them close. It works better with Zak than with Rory, but they both stick to us better than Freddy or Jake, who know the neighbourhood better and tend to go off on their own.

LOL – Zak is utterly adorable! In a couple of those shots, he looks like a teeny tiny kangaroo to me 😸.

That boy is FAST! I would probably stick close to my human if I was off leash… but that’ll never happen!

Zak actually prefers to stick close, but sometimes he gets distracted. This running is him trying to catch up to me again, usually
