More fun with sand…

And, yeah…you know he tried to dig to China too. At least he didn’t actually use the sand…

More fun with the giant sand pile…

“I want to see the size of the scoop that goes with this!”

“There’s got to be some palm trees in here somewhere…”

Gun-Hee a day/148 of 366

While out on our walk, we came upon a giant sand pile left over from when it snowed. Of course Gun-Hee had to check it out…

Gun-Hee was like…Dude…that’s totally a huge pile of sand!

Here is Gun-Hee on A Street in South Boston…

Gun-Hee reminds you not to dump in street drains…always ask yourself:
What Would Al Gore Do?

While we were in the park, we discovered a pile of carpet samples!

Gun-Hee took to them at once…

…and used them well.

We were in Wormwood Park, which is distinguished by the two architectural lion’s heads that adorn the entrance…

Gun-Hee says, “Rawr! I can be as fierce as them!”

Gun-Hee saw some pigeons in the park. So of course, suddenly, he’s Mighty Simba in the Serengeti.

Nevermind there were two pigeons and the pair of them could totally kick his tailfeathers…

Other People’s Abys – Part 6

Another Aby from Japan, Wiggy:

I love that he goes to Ikea and rides around in the cart (who does that remind us of?)…he also walks on a leash with a little jacket on. It’s like Gun-Hee has a twin brother in Japan!

While we were at the park, we found a Gun-Hee sized tennis ball…that squeaks.

In Wormwood Park, there was an art installation involving dirt in an elevated aquarium, with grass growing at the top of it. It was supposed to represent our precious green spaces, no matter how small…

…But Gun-Hee just thought it was a neat place to sit and look at the world.

Which, when you think about it, is a pretty good use for a work of art.

This is what life is like with Gun-Hee!

I saw this graphic today.
It is, in a nutshell, what life with Gun-Hee is like.

When we went to the park, Gun-Hee was fascinated by the birds in the nearby tree.

Looking at the birds.

Close-up of Gun-Hee looking at the birds.

The actual bird Gun-Hee is looking at.

Gun-Hee is so much fun to take outside. He is so interested in everything and needs to check it out…

Hellooooooooo down there!

Gun-Hee a day/139 of 366

People often ask me why Gun-Hee is the only one of my cats I take outside on a leash.

The answer, basically, is in the photos below:

Gun-Hee isn’t afraid of, and in fact doesn’t notice, large vehicles passing by him.

Trucks, buses, trains…he doesn’t flinch. He truly doesn’t notice these large vehicles.

This train honked its horn, and I jumped. Gun-Hee was nonplussed.

Gun-Hee’s Mailbag

A reader asks: Would Gun Hee eat a pizza if I put tuna and sardines on it? lol

Lets see…yesterday for breakfast my husband had bacon, eggs and a bagel. Gun-Hee ate a piece of all three and then had a go at the coffee (which Dmy husband didn’t let him have because the last thing Gun-Hee needs is caffeine). I had a hamburger, chips and salsa, and a lowfat ice cream sandwich for dinner…he wanted all of that too (except the salsa). So the answer is he would eat a pizza. Regardless of what is on it. 🙂

Feel free to ask a question…

I was in a little store today, when I saw this:

And can you blame me? I had to buy it!

Leopard print and Gun-Hee…what could be better?

My hope is that he’ll be able to carry my keys when we go out.

Doesn’t he look handsome?

Gun-Hee poses with my umbrella.

This photo cracks me up; he looks so flat-footed!

Our Foreman grill died the other day, so I went to Target to get a replacement.
Before I even managed to get it all unpacked, Gun-Hee was camping out in the box.

You can see the actual grill is still half in the box.

Oh hai, dis mai fort.

Other People’s Abys – Part 5

From Japan we have Nico and Nina:

From what I’ve seen, living with Nina and Nico is like living with two Gun-Hees! They have about 50 YouTube videos online, and some of them are just hilarious. I especially laugh at the ones involving the golden-brown, cat-shaped bed…
