Aby-a-Day – April 4: “Aging” (Saturday Photo Hunt)

This week’s Photo Hunt subject is “Aging.”

Just because a cat is aging doesn’t mean they’re getting old! Tessie will be 12 this year, but she’s not exactly what you’d call an “old” cat. She’s still as active as she’s ever been. She chases Angel, plays with sparkleballs, jumps on you when she wants to be held and yells when her dinner is late. You see, nobody tells cats how they’re “supposed” to act when they reach particular age, so they act however they feel like acting. Humans could do well to follow our cats’ lead in this.

She also loves sitting in boxes.
